On June 26th, the team completed a 20-mile sponsored walk along the stunning coastal path between Southport and Liverpool. Battling high temperatures during an intense summer heatwave, they pushed through and completed the challenge, showing real dedication, teamwork and compassion every step of the way.
The team are pictured here at the start of their marathon walk, from left to right: Emma Dyson, Sophie Hesketh, Rebecca Shaw, James Lattimore, Danielle Ware, Thomas Lafferty, Matthew Rodrigues.
Their efforts didn’t go unnoticed. As well as raising awareness for our mission, the team raised in excess of £750.00, which will go directly toward providing beds and essential bedding to some of the 18,000 children across Merseyside who are currently without a bed of their own.
This support makes a real difference. A safe, comfortable place to sleep is something every child deserves – and thanks to fundraisers like the BT team, we’re one step closer to making that a reality for more families.
There’s still time to show your support and donate here.
Thank you again to the BT team from everyone here at Time for Bed!
